To add a new video you have to create a user profile.

1. Click on "Create user" in the top menu
2. Fill in the fields and click on "Register"
3. Your account has been created and an activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you entered.
   Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login.
4. Use the login box in the right side and type in user name and password.

To add a video do the following.

1. Click on "Upload videos" in the control panel(only visible in login mode)
2. On the top of the page you will find a list of video pages that we support
3. Type in the URL you wish to add and press "Fetch it"
4. It will take a few seconds to fetch the video and you will now see the video details.
   1. Remember that this is an English site so please change all text to english
   2. Make sure to choose the correct category
   3. Make sure that the tags describe the content of the video. (band name, conductor,name of the pieces, composer, concert/competition name, etc.)
5. Press "Submit" and the video is now added.

No its not possible to upload videos to Brass Band Tube. Streaming video from a website is very demanding and there are plenty of free sites out there that support it much better than we can.

Upload your video to one of the following sites and then add the URL to Brass Band Tube.

1. YouTube
2. Google
3. Blip.tv
4. Dailymotion
5. Gametrailers
6. Megavideo
7. Metacafe
8. Revver
9. Tudou
10. Veoh
11. Vimeo
12. Yahoo

For now all videos are accepted but since this is a site for brass band and brass related videos we will remove all videos that we find inappropriate.

On the video detail page you will find a link called "Direct Link".
When you click on that link a direct link to the video will appear in the bottom of the page.

You can only delete videos that is added by yourself.
When logged in click on "My videos" in the control panel. You will now see all the videos that you have added and beside the video preview picture there are five icons where the bottom one is used for deleting.

The band list is maintained manually as every video is checked. If your band is not on the list within a day, please contact us.
